State of knowledge on emergency response and crisis management

In the era of late modernity, individual vulnerability is affected by various threats and risks. Consequently, people need to be aware these fit in more than ever before. To help become competent this changing world prepare for future threats, academic institutions play a vital role. understand such an role, part literature has highlighted how student can better learn emergency responses (ER) crisis management (CM). Nevertheless, very little focused on developing country’s students, particularly teenagers, ER CM. Focusing gaps literature, study aims sample Bangladeshi secondary students’ state knowledge related With cluster sampling, researcher distributed survey among 360 students between 9th 12th standard from two southern districts respectively Khulna Noakhali, which are also disaster-prone areas Bangladesh. Adopting Krathwohl’s model typology, as factual knowledge, conceptual procedural metacognitive collected evaluated data with descriptive statistics. The findings show that even though most familiar different ER- CM-related keywords, they have limited deeper knowledge. Furthermore, there was significant difference genders. Similarly, lack training environment makes young vulnerable any kind threat their surroundings could affect districts’ weak institutional legislative structure. scholarship study, policymakers academics its possible audience, assist them raising levels adding new information textbooks illustrations setting up drills.
